The New England Numismatic Association (NENA) is proud to welcome Patrick Gannon as the featured instructor for this fall’s Young Numismatists (YN) Program, taking place Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST in conjunction with the NH Coin & Currency Expo at the DoubleTree Hotel, 700 Elm Street, Manchester, NH.

At just 26 years old, Patrick brings a wealth of experience and passion to the numismatic community. He currently serves as General Manager of Northbridge Coin and Gold, a role he has held for the past two years. His journey into the world of paper money began under the guidance of noted paper currency expert Wade Boughton, and since then he has had the opportunity to handle and study an extraordinary array of notes from both the United States and around the globe.

Patrick is also an active contributor to NENA. His recent article, “The 1901 $10 Bison Note, A Short Compiled History,” appeared in the latest edition of NENA News (Vol. 82, No. 2), where he shared a detailed exploration of one of America’s most iconic pieces of currency.

For this fall’s YN Program, Patrick will guide attendees ages 5–17 through an exciting and educational journey into the history and artistry of U.S. currency.

NENA’s Young Numismatist Program has long been dedicated to sparking curiosity and cultivating knowledge in the next generation of collectors. With Patrick’s expertise and enthusiasm, this fall’s session promises to be both engaging and inspiring, providing young attendees with a strong foundation in paper money collecting.

We invite all families and young collectors to join us for this special event and experience firsthand the knowledge and excitement that numismatics has to offer. More information is available at nenacoin.org
