We are pleased to announce that Jeff Garrett has agreed to speak at our banquet. Jeff, founder of Mid-American Rare Coin Galleries, is a leading expert in U.S. coinage with over 45 years of experience. He has authored many numismatic works, including 100 Greatest U.S. Coins, Encyclopedia of United States Gold Coinage: 1795–1933, Circulating, Proof, Commemorative, and Pattern Issues and is also the valuation editor of The Official Redbook: A Guide Book of United States Coins. Former president of both the American Numismatic Association (ANA) and the Professional Numismatic Guild (PNG), Garrett has won numerous awards including the PNG Lifetime Achievement Award. Today, he is a consultant to the Smithsonian’s National Numismatic Collection and Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), the world’s largest coin grading company. The winner of the 2005 PCGS World Series of Grading, he is considered one of the country’s best coin graders, his expertise in U.S. coins and coin grading make him an authoritative figure in the field of numismatics.
